Welcome to Roselands Resort

We invite you to experience our restaurant with stunning panoramic views and diverse farm land on our resort featuring the natural landscapes of the Waitomo Valley.

Located in Waitomo, a small village in the North Island of New Zealand which is known for it’s extensive underground cave systems where thousands of glow worms light up the caves. 


We are situated on an 18 acre site which features a large restaurant catering up to 316 people, a large conference room, a relaxing lounge area, and an indoor-outdoor area.

Upon entering Roselands Resort you are led up a long driveway surrounded by stunning views of farmland, trees, and native bush. The restaurant is surrounded with a large glass covered outdoor deck taking you down to our outdoor seating area located next to one of our beautiful Japanese cherry blossom trees.

At Roselands Resort we specialize in BBQ Buffet where our food is prepared on the barbeque right infront of our dining guests. Choose inside or outside dining. Our spectacular cherry tree which blossoms in the month of October makes a picturesque setting, or over summer provides a cool shady place to dine.

Walking Trails

Set on 18 acres of land which includes 5 acres of native bush that you can walk through to see our various trail walks, small caves and rock features while admiring the bird life.

We have a large designated parking area at the front of Roselands Resort that is available for all vehicles including Buses.

Chauffeur Service

Chauffeur driver available if you would like to travel somewhere in our Silver Shadow Rolls Royce or our H3 Hummer.

Roselands Resort is pet friendly, pets are allowed at the restaurant as long as guests are seated under our covered outdoor dining area.
